Chalice Abbey is an inclusive community with a passion for justice and environmental stewardship. Our mission is to create a sustainable world through fair trade goods, creative arts and nurturing the spirit. To do this, we have a local prayer center in Amarillo, Texas called the Center for Spirituality & the Arts. Our non-denominational prayer center is open to everyone and offers a place to build community.
We believe fair trade matters. That's why we feature fair trade artisans in our local gift shop. In order to provide the world with more sustainable options, we're always looking for volunteers to help us spread the word. If you are interested in helping us promote fair trade, you can volunteer with us daily, weekly or monthly.

Fair trade matters. It impacts one of the biggest problems of our time - poverty - in very real, very tangible ways by empowering consumers to participate in the creation of a more equitable society via the choices each of us makes in the products we commonly purchase, offering hope, justice and transformation to a world facing seemingly overwhelming challenges. If you are interested in helping Chalice Abbey promote fair trade, you can volunteer some of your time each day, week or month.
Joining a local prayer center offers a lot of benefits. By attending our sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, you'll have the opportunity to:
We also host deep dialogues on Sundays. In addition to our prayer center, we have a gift shop that features local artists and fair trade artisans. You can support your community and communities in need every time you visit.
